Fin – Wear the World

This Invention From India Is Going to Change The Way We Live Forever!

Fin is basically a tiny hardware product that users can wear on their thumbs as a ring. The ring will then convert the user’s whole palm into a gesture interface. The project has already raised about $200,000 from some 1,600 people around the world who have already pre-ordered the product. Previous to this, Fin’s initial target for the project was to raise $100,000. However, back in mid-February when it found that its target was getting accomplished faster than expected, the campaign’s deadline was extended to March 9, and this resulted in the doubling of its monetary collections.

5 Things Super Lucky People Do

Do you feel lucky? Here’s a clear-cut approach for improving your luck today.

So often I have witnessed people excuse their own inadequacies by crediting the success of others to luck.  Salespeople I know disparage their more successful competitors as lucky. If those salespeople would make as many calls or work as many hours as their competitors, they would realize that their probability of closing is fairly equal. The competitors are simply swinging the bat more often.

The truth is that seemingly lucky people are opportunists. They do the things that allow them to take advantage of the world around them. For them, it’s not about being in the way of good luck or bad. It’s the actions they take to get what Jim Collins refers to as a high return on luck whichever way the pendulum swings. Follow these five tips and you can be as lucky as anyone, no four-leaf clover or rabbit’s foot required.

Change your typeface, save millions

CNN) — An e. You can write it with one fluid swoop of a pen or one tap of the keyboard. The most commonly used letter in the English dictionary. Simple, right?

Now imagine it printed out millions of times on thousands of forms and documents. Then think of how much ink would be needed.

OK, so that may have been a first for you, but it came naturally to 14-year-old Suvir Mirchandani when he was trying to think of ways to cut waste and save money at his Pittsburgh-area middle school.

It all started as a science fair project. As a neophyte sixth-grader at Dorseyville Middle School, Suvir noticed he was getting a lot more handouts than he did in elementary school.

The key to success? Grit

Leaving a high-flying job in consulting, Angela Lee Duckworth took a job teaching math to seventh graders in a New York public school. She quickly realized that IQ wasn’t the only thing separating the successful students from those who struggled. Here, she explains her theory of “grit” as a predictor of success.

Simple Sales Tracker for Startups

Over the last several years, while I’ve used a variety of  tools from mere contact managers through sophisticated deal trackers to full-fledged CRM suites, I’ve found myself returning each time to a simple spreadsheet-based sales tracker, at least in the early days. The tracker has not only evolved as I’ve learned but stayed surprisingly simple and has worked just as well in a fund-raising function at non-profits as it has in a for-profit startup.

As I promised these founders, I’m open sourcing the sample tracker as an Microsoft Excel spreadsheet. The tracker can be used for selling products or services or combinations thereof. You can download it here.

The tracker has three parts.

It is high time we in India too adopted this more eco friendly nature’s way of converting human manure to composite manure for farming.

Watch more on composite toilets here in this link provided:-

But all this is not possible when living in urban cities where we are engaged in 9 to 5 jobs but can be adopted at least in villages or in farms.
