Meet a young entrepreneur, cartoonist, designer, activist …

Maya Penn parents are helping her dream come true by guiding her and letting her make her dreams come true. She is a creator an ideas person just like a young 13 year old Aaron Swartz who was part of the working group that created Reddit. I’m sure that any parent who takes interest in their child’s creativity will want to help create their brand and not let outsiders do it. I see nothing wrong with parents helping along their child’s vision and helping them create a business that from all accounts will be apart of keeping this world greener.

His remarkable structures are often intended as temporary housing, designed to help the dispossessed in disaster-struck nations such as Haiti, Rwanda or Japan. Yet equally often the buildings remain a beloved part of the landscape long after they have served their intended purpose. (Filmed at TEDxTokyo.)

Most people look at cardboard tubes and see something fit for the recycling bin. But architect Shigeru Ban turns them into beautiful buildings. Full bio »

C. Renuka Prasad, who took over as the Vice-Chancellor recently, said the university would share advanced technology with farmers and tie up with private corporations to promote industries based on farm and animal produce.
